2023 National Conference
August 11-12, 2023, Calgary, AB
Every four years, delegates from across The Wesleyan Church of Canada gather to elect officers, hear exciting ministry updates, and help strategize how we can have an even greater impact on Canada/Maine for Christ. Our last National Conference was held in Montreal as a deliberate statement of our intention to see more church planting take place in that beautiful province. This year, our conference is being held in Calgary to purposefully say, “Canadians in western Canada are loved by Christ and His church.” We want to see many more new and thriving kingdom locations/congregations established throughout the western provinces.
Our theme this year is “Great God” taken from Nehemiah 8:6 where God’s people gathered to express their enthusiastic praise and worship to the One who is all-worthy. Just prior to our National Conference, we have organized an ‘Across Canada/Maine Prayer Tour’ stopping at approx. 90 different communities between St. John’s, Newfoundland and Victoria, British Columbia, and ending back at Calgary on Aug. 11.
Our delegates have already been elected, but our public worship services are open to anyone who wants to join us in acknowledging the “Great God” we serve. Come be part of this historic event. You won’t be disappointed!
