\u00a0<\/span>Dr. Stephen Elliott is the National Superintendent of The Wesleyan Church of Canada.\u00a0 Steve has served in a variety of ministry roles, including twenty-two years as a church planter in Kanata, Ontario;\u00a0 two years as senior pastor at Fellowship Wesleyan church in Buffalo, New York; and over the last fourteen years\u00a0as a professor and the Director of Pastoral Ministries and Church Planting degree programs at Kingswood University (formerly Bethany Bible College).\u00a0His doctoral\u00a0degree is from Asbury Theological Seminary (Kentucky) and he is the author of\u00a0<\/span>\u2018By Signs and Wonders: How the Holy Spirit grows the church<\/em>\u201d (Seedbed Publishing). His second book \u201cNext Level Church<\/i>: leading a congregation to a new stage of healthy impact” was<\/em> released in 2021, and his third “The Rubrics of a Healthy<\/em> Church<\/em>” in 2023,\u00a0by Wesleyan Publishing House<\/span>, along with another upcoming book entitled “The Principles and Practices of Discipleship”.\u00a0 He has been happily married to Helen since 1975, and they have 3 married children and 6 grandchildren.\u00a0 He is an avid hockey fan; loves sci-fi movies, and is a prolific reader of all things related to church health, growth, and He is currently serving on the Church Health and Advancement team in Central Canada, while working in education, mentoring a doctoral cohort, lecturing, and pursuing his Doctor of Theology degree in Renewal Studies. He brings a passion for renewal and revival in the church, together with a gift set that has already proven effective as a complement to Dr. Elliott through their ministry together in Kanata.
